Both candidates said that they would focus on job creation; Rhode Island has the country's third-highest unemployment rate.
Cicilline said that, despite federal funds pouring into the economy, small businesses in the state are still struggling to get loans and municipalities are cutting their budgets. The mayor said that the state needs someone fighting for those small businesses.
'Gay' beats 'homosexual' in DADT poll
New York City-A New York Times and CBS News poll indicates that the words used when asking about repealing "don't ask, don't tell" strongly affects how people respond.

When asked how they feel about letting "homosexuals" serve in the military, 59 percent of respondents strongly favored or somewhat favored allowing them to serve.
However, when the phrasing was changed to "gay men and lesbians," that number shot up to 70 percent.
In another question about serving openly, 44 percent favored allowing "homosexuals" to do so, while 58 percent favored open "gay men and lesbians" in the nation's military.

Cleveland-These are the standings of the North Coast Bowling Association's Friday night bowling league at the end of the games on February 19.
The Friday night league is a fun social league with plenty of openings. Both full-time bowlers as well as alternates are needed. No experience is necessary. Bowling begins at 7 pm Fridays at Ambassador Superior Lanes, 1500 Superior Ave. in downtown Cleveland, and finishes by 9:30 pm.

Sunday bowling standings
Cleveland-These are the standings of the North Coast Bowling Association's Sunday league after the games on February 14. There were no games on February 21.
The Sunday league is northeast Ohio's original gay bowling league, now in its 30th season. They bowl at Freeway Lanes of Parma, 12859 Brookpark Rd. near West 130th St., at 1 pm. Cleveland-These are the standings for the Shooters Pool League at the end of the games on February 15.
This is the seventh season of an annual pool league which shoots on Monday nights from October through April. Although it is a semicompetitive league, all skill levels may compete as matches are based on individual handicaps. A team is made up of 4 to 7 players. Play begins at 7:30 pm at the home team's bar, where four matches are played each week consisting of as many games as necessary for one player to win as many games as their handicap.
